About this role
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Pre-Sales Engineer to support our growing cybersecurity portfolio across Infrastructure and Network Security domains. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in driving technical engagements, enabling channel partners, and supporting enterprise sales initiatives through solution design, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts.
This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, consultative mindset, and stakeholder engagement, with the ability to translate complex security requirements into effective, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Sales & Solution Support
- Work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide tailored cybersecurity solutions.
- Design and architect solutions across network security, SASE, identity security, and infrastructure protection domains.
- Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and workshops to enterprise customers and partners.
- Lead and execute Proof of Concepts (POCs) and technical evaluations.
- Support RFP/RFI responses with detailed technical inputs and solution positioning.
Partner Enablement & Channel Support
- Engage with channel partners (VARs, MSSPs, system integrators) to provide technical enablement and solution guidance.
- Conduct partner training sessions, demos, and technical workshops.
- Support partner-led opportunities and ensure alignment with solution architecture and best practices.
Collaboration & Deal Support
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure successful solution deployment and integration.
- Support sales teams throughout the deal lifecycle, from qualification to closure.
Market Awareness & Continuous Learning
- Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity trends, technologies, and threat landscape.
- Maintain strong knowledge of competitive solutions and market positioning.
- Continuously enhance expertise across multi-vendor security portfolios.
Technical Skills & Expertise
Core Technologies:
- Network Security (Firewalls, VPN, SSL, WAF)
- SASE (Secure Access Service Edge)
- SD-WAN & WAN Optimization
- Identity & Access Management (IAM / PAM / AD Security)
- Secure Access / Zero Trust Architecture
Good to Have:
- Cloud Security (AWS / Azure fundamentals)
- NDR / Threat Detection technologies
- Data Security / Encryption solutions
Qualifications & Experience
- 4–6 years of experience in cybersecurity pre-sales / sales engineering roles.
- Strong background in network and infrastructure security solutions.
- Experience working with channel partners (VARs, MSSPs, system integrators) is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to conduct demos, POCs, and technical presentations.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
