Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Plumbing CAD Draftsman to join our team full-time, on-site. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing design and drafting, with experience using CAD software. They will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and plans for plumbing systems in commercial and residential buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Use CAD software to create detailed drawings and plans for plumbing systems
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings
- Review and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine project requirements
- Make revisions to drawings as needed based on changes in project scope
- Maintain organized and up-to-date project files and documentation
- Communicate with clients and team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Stay updated on industry standards and best practices for plumbing design and drafting
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, additional education or training in plumbing design and drafting preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in plumbing design and drafting
- Proficiency in CAD software, specifically AutoCAD and Revit
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and precise drawings
- Knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Willingness to work on-site and occasionally travel to project sites as needed
