Director – Construction Projects

About this role

Recruvion is seeking an accomplished Director – Construction Projects to lead the delivery of large-scale, high-value developments from concept and pre-construction through execution and handover.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience across mixed-use developments, hospitality, residential communities, luxury projects and infrastructure, with a proven ability to manage complex stakeholders, consultants, contractors, budgets and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale real estate and construction projects.
Manage projects from concept, design and planning through construction, commissioning and handover.
Establish project scope, budgets, schedules, resources and delivery strategies.
Lead project teams, consultants, contractors and specialist subcontractors.
Monitor cost, programme, quality, risk and overall project performance.
Drive stakeholder management across developers, consultants, contractors and government entities.
Review designs, technical issues, project deliverables and construction progress.
Lead project meetings, resolve critical issues and drive timely decision-making.
Identify project risks and implement mitigation and recovery strategies.
Manage procurement, consultant/vendor selection and contractor performance.
Provide senior management with clear reporting on progress, cost, risks, resources and key decisions.
Ensure projects are delivered in line with approved scope, budget, quality and programme objectives.

Project Exposure

Experience across major developments including:

Mixed-use & commercial developments
Luxury hotels & hospitality
Residential communities & villas
Royal / VVIP developments
Retail & lifestyle destinations
Infrastructure and master developments

Exposure to projects ranging from AED 100M+ to AED 700M+, with experience on major UAE developments and international-standard construction environments.

What We're Looking For

15+ years of experience in construction / real estate project management.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's in Project / Construction Management preferred.
PMP certification preferred.
Strong UAE experience across major developments.
Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and high-value projects.
Strong commercial, contractual, planning and risk-management understanding.
Excellent stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities within demanding timelines and budgets.
