Recruvion is hiring on behalf of a leading Systems Engineering company in Abu Dhabi for an experienced ELV Draughtsman.
What You'll Do
Prepare detailed shop drawings for CCTV, ACS, SCS, Lighting Control, Master Clock, IP Telephony, Network Switching, Gate Barrier and other ELV systems.
Develop accurate device layout plans based on architectural and RCP drawings.
Prepare riser diagrams, single-line diagrams and system interconnection drawings.
Create mounting details, rack elevations and termination drawings.
Prepare cable routing, containment and structured cabling pathway layouts.
Identify and coordinate ELV interfaces with BMS, Fire Alarm, IT Networks and other building systems.
Incorporate consultant comments, design revisions and site changes into drawings.
Prepare accurate as-built drawings based on actual site installations.
Support material take-offs and device quantity calculations.
Ensure drawings comply with relevant ADMCC, SIRA, TRA, AD Police, CMW and other authority requirements.
Conduct thorough drawing checks for accuracy, completeness and consistency.
Maintain proper revision history, drawing numbering and document control.
What We're Looking For
3–5 years of relevant ELV drafting experience
Strong experience preparing ELV shop drawings and as-built drawings
Good understanding of CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, IP Telephony and ELV systems
Ability to interpret architectural, RCP and MEP drawings
Experience with AutoCAD and ELV drawing standards
Knowledge of UAE authority requirements and consultant coordination
Strong attention to detail and drawing/document control skills
UAE project experience preferred
