Contracts Data Center - Director

About this role

Recruvion is looking for a senior commercial and contracts professional to lead procurement, tendering, contract management, and commercial governance across large-scale data center / mission-critical infrastructure projects.

This is a strategic, hands-on role for a professional who can operate across pre-award tendering, commercial negotiations, post-award contract administration, claims, variations, risk, and contractor management.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end contracts and commercial management across major data center projects.
Drive tendering, bid management, sourcing strategy, commercial evaluations, and negotiations.
Manage high-value EPC, construction, MEP and specialist trade contracts.
Lead variations, claims, EOTs, disputes, contract amendments and close-out.
Develop commercial strategies covering pricing, risk allocation, payment terms and project cash flow.
Manage contractors, suppliers and strategic partners against contractual, commercial, quality and delivery obligations.
Partner with Project, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Procurement and Construction teams to protect project and business interests.
Establish strong contract governance, compliance, documentation and commercial controls.
Identify commercial risks early and develop mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
Support leadership on major negotiations, commercial decisions and complex contractual matters.

What We're Looking For

12–18+ years of experience across Contracts, Commercial, Procurement, Tendering or Supply Chain.
Strong experience in data centers, hyperscale infrastructure, EPC, mission-critical or large-scale construction projects.
Proven exposure to high-value contracts and complex contractor ecosystems.
Strong knowledge of contract administration, claims, variations, EOTs and dispute resolution.
Demonstrated ability to lead commercial negotiations and tender strategies.
Strong stakeholder management across executive, technical, legal and project teams.
Excellent commercial acumen with the ability to connect contracts, cost, risk and project delivery.
Engineering / Law / Supply Chain / Commercial qualification preferred.
